    Customers scan the code at your truck or cart. Your menu opens in their phone's browser. No app to download.

  2. They pay.

    They order and pay by card from their phone, and can add a tip if you turn tips on.

  3. You cook.

    The order shows up on your screen. Customers see when it's ready.

Catering

Catering, done right.

Take catering orders without the phone tag. Pickup only.

  • Request

    Customers pick items and a pickup time from your catering page. Nothing is charged yet.

  • Approve

    You or a manager approve or decline, and add pickup instructions so they know where to go.

  • Pay before pickup

    Once you approve, they get a link to pay online.

  • Bank payment

    When pickup is far enough ahead, customers can pay from their bank account.

  • Automatic expiry

    If they don't pay by the deadline, the order cancels itself. No chasing.

  • Refunds handled

    Need to cancel? Refund from Truq and the customer is told automatically.

  • Your notice

    You set how far ahead customers have to order.

Pricing

Pricing, plain and simple.

  • No monthly fee
  • 3.5% per order, never more than $3
  • Setup is free.
  • Truq's fee is 3.5% of the items in each order, before tax and tip, capped at $3.
  • By default, customers pay it at checkout as a service fee. Prefer to cover it yourself? Ask us and we'll switch it.
  • Standard card processing fees from Stripe apply.
  • Truq takes no cut of your tips.

Example: On a $20 order, Truq's fee is $0.70. On a $200 catering order, it's $3.

I'm Raphael. I run Yelo Cart, a paleta cart in Chicago, and I built Truq to be what I needed: a way to take orders, handle catering, and see what's selling, all from my phone. Truq works in English and Spanish, for you and your customers.
